Who am I?
First of all, what I do know:
I'm a trans woman who has been on HRT for quite some time, and my pronouns are she/it. I'm an adult too, which is tiring.
I can be described as a doll, a dog, a bot, a girl, a non-gendered thing (and so on), and I'm pretty good at being most - if not all - of these. Choose your favourite, I'm not picky.
My mind can be a little bit behind memory-wise or can be disassociative in the moment from time to time, and while I haven't really pinned down why that is (stay tuned!), do keep it in mind if you're trying to get me to remember something. No guarantees it'll come back to me for a while.
Once upon a time, I used to do art (and I hope to do it once again), before burnout hit hard. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things someday and get my visual creativity going full force again. I'd put my portfolio here, but it's quite personal and is linked to my professional self, so I would rather keep it apart.
Nowadays, I've been playing a lot of games, which you can see here. I've also been watching not-so-many movies, which you can also see here.
On the subject of playing games, I've been on a quest to complete every single Sonic game (to a point), and the results so far have been interesting to say the least.
I play DDR sometimes. I'm hoping to get an LTek for home play, so I don't have to spend millions even travelling to an arcade on my own, let alone emptying my bank account a pound at a time when I get there. I'd rather practice at home and make the trip when people are free instead.
What games and movies made me... me? Well, I haven't made a list just yet, but when I do, I'll make sure to link them here. Or make a page compiling pages of overviews about them all. Or something along those lines, I haven't decided yet.
I'm growing a physical media collection of games, CDs, DVDs, consoles and whatever other cartridge or disc-based media you can think of. If it keeps up I'll probably need to buy another bookshelf, and if it keeps going after that, I'll have to start sleeping on the sofa for want of bed space.
Talking about CDs, I've been cursed by John Music to need to constantly listen to music. I'll make an article or twenty on albums that I'm a fan of, but for now, I recommend my favourite album - Constant Companions (Deluxe Edition) by Jamie Paige. As for albums that're incredibly close, ALBUM. by UNBEATABLE honestly takes a joint-first spot, with the first glass beach album by glass beach and Discovery by Daft Punk not being far behind. Supporting bands on Bandcamp is something that you should absolutely do, by the way. Go buy all those albums I linked. And a few copies for your friends. Maybe even all of the rest of their discographies. You know you want to. Also, if you're super nosey and want to see what I'm listening to right now, I've a last.fm account that you can check out.
As for other non-electronic media, I don't quite have as many books, but I do plan on covering the few books that I've read recently, and the many that I should really get around to soon - namely finishing Kallidora Rho's WARHOUND, and reading Rosemary Kirstein's The Steerswoman and Maria Ying's The Hades Calculus - in fact, I highly recommend Rho's other works too, although it's worth reading the tags beforehand to make sure you'll be fine with the content.
My thoughts on AI, by the way. Don't use it. I consider you less of a human being if you choose to use it especially with how destructive it is to everyone in so many ways. Go and pick up a pencil or do the research yourself and you'll feel so much more rewarded after accomplishing what you set out to do.
oh and im sandeia by the way. nice to meet you :3
